Need advice for driving music compilation.
Hi all, I need some sound advice.
I'm fed up of constantly juggling with cds in the car just to find my favourite tracks and I was thinking about making my own compilation of driving songs. My musical tastes are still stuck between the 70's and 90's so here is a shortlist of what I have so far. I used to have this kind of thing on cassettes but my car only has a CD player now and I've misplaced the tapes as well so I have to start afresh. Also, the list may appear long but consider that my daily commute is 2 hours each way so three or five cds worth of varied tunes should keep alert as I'm tending to feel sleepy.
As most of you guys are up to date with newer music I was wondering what you would add to the list which is similar to what I already have. Basically I like heavy rifts, fast guitar, long guitar solo's and music that just gets my blood pumping....yet melodic at the same time.
If you like, post your own playlist or comment on mine, as long as I can get an idea of what is available nowadays.
Btw: I've already tried using pandora.com to get to know new music but there are two problems with this, firstly I just don't have the time to listen to song after song in the hope of finding something new I like and secondly, pandora.com is only for US residents now because of licensing problems.
OK, enough waffle, here is the list in no particular order yet. Thanks

Disturbed (if you can get past the preachiness of the second and third album and the angst of the first)
- Believe, Deify
Breaking Benjamin
- Had Enough, Polyamorous, Follow
StainD
- Price to Play
Dropping Daylight (kinda angsty)
- Tell Me, Brace Yourself, Til You Feel Something
Fuel
- Quarter, Won't Back Down
Saliva
- Raise Up
Stonesour
- Come What(ever) May, Through Glass, Orchids, Monolith
The rest of my music bends towards the heavier end, so that's the best I can do.
